" The psychological root of procrastination is the procrastinator's entanglement with time. Procrastinators often view time in an "expectant mindset " or as an opponent that needs to be subdued and defeated" (26).
——Procrastination by Jane Burka
Background
Since the epidemic outbreak, people have started taking online classes and studying at home. People gradually have less and less concept of time. At this point, self-control becomes extremely important. The comforts of home and the allure of ubiquity are highly influential, leading to procrastination.
Story
I created this animation about when a boy is writing his history paper; he is disturbed by all kinds of things, especially his naughty cat Casper... After several harassments, Casper stole Michael's mouse. When Michael grabs the mouse back to start work, it's time to cut off. In the end, he submitted it at the last second, and when he was lucky, he found out that the submission was wrong. Deadline becomes the "dead" line

What will I do differently next time?
This is my first time doing 3D animation. I went through the whole process. I made many mistakes, but I learned from them. Next time, I will adjust my early animation process. I will make the cat's legs when building the model. This time it was tough to bind the bones because it was too short. In addition, the facial expressions of the boy and the cat are a bit stiff, and I want to try other ways to make vivid expressions.
I still need to improve my animation skill.
