-Concept Design Project-
Background and Story:
My father worked in the field when I was young. My mother has taken care of me by myself since I was a child. In my childhood memories, I lacked the role of father, just like Norbu. The reason why I chose Tibetan is that I like Tibetan culture very much. I feel that Tibet is a very pure place, and I am attracted by the plateau red on their cheeks. And I especially like the chuba (Tibetan robes) they wear. I want to learn more about their culture through this project.
Nobu has lived in a pastoral area and has never been to a city. His father went to work in the city to earn money. Grandma has been in poor health, and her mother has hardly taken care of him and his sister, so Norbu hopes to find his father and let him return. Since then, he has embarked on a journey to the city with his dog Tashi.
Norbu ནོར་བུ
An 11-year-old boy living in a Tibetan rural area has never left home. He has always been looking forward to the outside world, but at the same time, he is also afraid. When he saw the robot for the first time, he thought it was a monster.
Tashi བཀྲ་ཤིས་
A giant black Tibetan mastiff is loyal to the Norbu family, an excellent helper to drive away wolves and protect the homeland. The red collar around the neck is a trophy won in a local competition.
Dad
To make life better for his family, he left home many years ago and worked as a mechanical maintenance worker in the city. In the process of repairing the machine, he accidentally lost an arm.
